Cacao Protein Nutella

A lighter, protein-rich chocolate hazelnut spread for toast, fruit, or by the spoon.

Ingredients
• 1 cup hazelnuts, lightly roasted
• 1 cup water
• 2 tbsp Whole Blending Cacao Plant Protein
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
• 1 tbsp oligosaccharide syrup or other liquid sweetener

Instructions
• Roast hazelnuts briefly in the oven until fragrant, then cool slightly.
• Blend hazelnuts and water in a blender until smooth.
• Add cacao protein (and cocoa powder if using) and blend again.
• Stir in the syrup until fully combined.
• Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge.
